I HAVE JUST PURCHASED A LARGE COLLECTION OF ORIGINAL LABEL 1950s AND EARLY 1960s ROCKABILLY, BLUES, AND R&B 45s, INCLUDING SOME HIGH END ITEMS - I'LL BE LISTING ITEMS FROM THIS COLLECTION OVER THE NEXT COUPLE OF WEEKS - This is a reasonably priced ORIGINAL 1958 (NOT THE RECENT REPRO!!!) EXCELLO RECORDS U.S. 45 WITH ITS ORIGINAL JUKEBOX TITLE STRIP containing the rocking blues tunes titled 'I'm A Lover, Not A Fighter' / 'Sugar Coated Love' from Lazy Lester. It is Excello Records catalog number 2143, thick rigid vinyl 1958 early pressing with orange and blue labels. Visual condition of record is a real nice EX with all original gloss and just one or two light surface marks, none of which can be felt or will affect play. Record plays very quietly with a little bit of very light scattered surface noise. Labels have no real problems. Jukebox title strip has a couple of small light stains. This 45 would be a choice addition to any vintage blues-rock or roots rock-n-roll 45 record collection!
