This is a pristine Japanese first pressing of "This is the Lazy", the essential album by the legendary rock group LAZY. Released during the height of the late 70s Japanese rock boom, this album is a fascinating look at the early genius of guitarist Akira Takasaki and drummer Munetaka Higuchi before they conquered the world with LOUDNESS, alongside the powerful vocals of Hironobu Kageyama.
This copy is exceptionally well-preserved and includes the original Obi strip and the rare bonus portraits, making it a true collector's gem. The tracks range from infectious pop-rock to hints of the heavy metal thunder that was soon to come.

LAZY is one of the most significant bands in J-Rock history. Though they started with a "pop" image, their technical proficiency was far beyond their peers.
