Ernest Ansermet leads the Royal Opera House Orchestra, Covent Garden, in performances of orchestral ballet pieces by Tchaikovsky, Rossini-Respighi, Delibes and Adam, on this legendary set of 2 stereo shaded-dog RCA LPs, LSC 6065. All sides are 1s Indianapolis pressings. Three of the 4 sides are in NM- to NM condition, with some superficial scuffs and the occasional soft tick. Side 2 is VG, with a scratch about 4 cm long that produces intermittent light ticks and a few moderately loud ones. The box is in decent condition, with a crease near the left corner and some fraying of this corner as well. The fabric is also frayed on the back of the box near the top. If you want a perfect copy of this set please do not bid. If you can tolerate the flaws described you will be very happy with it. The set comes with my usual guarantee. Given the weight of the box and booklet, it is equivalent to 4 LPs for shipping purposes.

Packages of more than 6 records will generally weigh more than 4 pounds and will then be sent by either Air Parcel Post or Surface Parcel Post. Rates will vary according to destination and weight.

All overseas packages sent by parcel post are insurable, whereas packages sent by letter post (air or surface) are not. If insurance is desired please ask. All domestic mail is insurable. As is usually the case with eBay sellers, I cannot be responsible for uninsured parcels lost in the post.

GRADING: Records are graded visually. In addition to the standard grades of NM, VG, etc., with relevant + or -, all visible defects and audible flaws are noted and described as accurately as possible. It is more trouble for me to do this, but serious collectors are better served this way. My grading is strict and conservative, and records are guaranteed to be as described. Mistakes happen and defects can occasionally be overlooked or too small to detect. In cases like this I will be happy to refund the cost of the record and return shipping.
