LUCA / LA CORSA ... 7-inch, 45rpm single by LE MACCHIE ROSSE. Original Italian pressing on the CGO label (LMR 529/A), from 1969. Obscure, cult and killer psychedelic Italian garage single that features the amazingly delirious LUCA theme with driving wah wah guitars / farfisa electronic organ breaks and trippy studio FX. The lead vocals and funky rhythms are insane, as good as the very best tunes from any Le Beat Bespoke series. Big record with Italian mod DJs and collectors. Comped on Stasera Shake Vol 3. This is the desirable promo issue with picture sleeve. Rare 45!!!
Our record grading: SEALED / M- / VG++ / VG+ / VG
Vinyl is close to shiny M- condition with a few light hairlines from sleeve removal. Some light surface noises. Taken from an unplayed deadstock of records and played once for the recording of the soundclip. The picture sleeve is in strong VG++ condition with a little creasing and some wear to bottom of back sleeve (1st scan image) and front sleeve bottom edge (3rd scan image). Rare 45!!!
