Not as initially impressive as Contrappunti, maybe even slightly disappointing for prog enthusiasts...But for fans of ear-worm pop with unexpected rock arrangements, I think there's a lot to mine here. As usual, Aldo's vocals are an absolute delight, and his melodies are like wonderful refreshing glasses of lemonade. All the instrumental work is top notch, staying just on this side of "songs" but with undeniable leanings into more ambitious territory. All of it feels super tight and focused, but tricky and imaginative at the same time. Superb guitar work that is flexible and ego-less, contributing color and rock drama. The more time I spend with this album, the more I adore it. It's totally one of those prog gateway albums you can break out for the uninitiated. WHY NOT CHECK OUT MY EBAY STORE -
