Description

LEADBELLY’S LAST SESSIONS VOL. 1 FP-241. Complete, Double Album Box (Side Flip Open). First pressing 1953 on Folkways Records Label. Both discs are in perfect, Mint Condition.They have never been played. Both inserts are Mint as well. Box is NM-Excellent with only a few small scratches that require meticulous inspection to notice. Full Structural Integrity.
     Will be shipped inside of an encased, crush proof, damage proof container and fully insured.
    
Notes:
     Recorded (with Vol 1) over 3 nights in September/October 1948 in the NYC apartment of Frederic Ramsey Jr. Apart for a few minor edits, the sessions are presented as recorded, including Leadbelly's often illuminating introductions and general between-song chats.
