Description

HELEN JEPSEN and RUTH DONALDSON went to a place NO other "sister act" in vaudeville had ever gone:  They threw over show business and devoted the rest of their career to The Lord!  Accompanying themselves with their tiple and Hawaiian guitar, as they did in vaudeville, they crooned sacred songs in close harmony, as heard on this Gennett record, "LEAVE IT THERE" and "GLORY TO GOD HE'S COME HOME."  This record is part of the field trip to Minneapolis, MN, undertaken by Gennett in 1927.   

This is a store-stock Electrobeam Gennett 6241, still in its original Electrobeam Sleeve (a rarity in itself!). Naturally, it's in immaculate E+ condition, allowing for the gentle passage of time.
