Description
This is a great copy of Led Zeppelin's first classic LP entitled 'Led Zeppelin' which was originally released in 1969 on the UK Atlantic label. The catalogue number is 588171. The sleeve which is laminated on both sides is in fine condition with very minor creasing and wear. The wording and Atlantic logo on the front are orange in colour. The sleeve has been grade as Ex--. The record which has been well played features the original orange and plum coloured labels with the 'Superhype Music' and 'Jewel Music' credits. There are some spindle marks on both labels. The matrix numbers on the run-off grooves are as follows - side one - 588171 A//1 112 - side two - 588171B//1 121 (the number '2' in this sequence appears to be reversed, but I'm not 100% sure). The record plays beautifully on both sides with minor surface noise and very occasional pops and clicks. The record gets an Ex-- grading. This is an absolute must for serious prog and psych collectors. It's one of the greatest debut albums of all time and still sounds fresh today.
