Welcome to my auction of a few classic titles that I have that are sadly missing their outer sleeves. Have a look at some of the other listings that I have. All records are in amazing condition. This is an opportunity to upgrade your copy if you have a sleeve with worn out, poor condition vinyl that is no longer fit for playing. I am starting these at low prices with no reserve as I would like them to go to good homes or to record collectors who have outer sleeves and wish to upgrade their vinyl. I’m hoping that someone who has a good condition sleeve but poor condition vinyl will snap these up. They will be dispatched to the winning bidder by 1st class shipping in high quality 450G outer sleeves and poly lined inners (please see photos).
This auction is for a great copy of LED ZEPPELIN’s classic fourth album from November 1971. This was one of the last copies pressed on the red/plum labels before being re-released on the green and orange labels at the start of 1972. This label is about the 5th variant. Earliest A3/B3 matrices with ‘Peck Duck’ on side 1 runout and ‘Porky’ inscribed on the runoff groove on side 2. Breathtakingly powerful punchy audio.
This has been played right through and played flawlessly on my system, just a little bit of light surface noise on the quieter parts but nothing that overpowers the music. No skips or jumps. A GREAT OPPORTUNITY TO ACQUIRE AN EXCELLENT EARLY COPY OF THIS CLASSIC ALBUM
Both sides are in EXCELLENT condition visually with a few light non-sounding lines. Playback on both sides is EXCELLENT PLUS. Both labels are also in EXCELLENT condition with a few spindle lines but nothing nasty. Sleeves shown in photos are the ones that the record will be sent in to winning buyer.
