LED ZEPPELIN 1 New Zealand LP Unique Cover First Press
Rare original New Zealand pressing LED ZEPPELIN Led Zeppelin LP ( Atlantic SAL 933 232 ) 1969
Nice copy of the unique first NZ version with the green and silver Atlantic labels and band bio back cover.
ORIGINAL PRESSING ON THICK HEAVY VINYL BEAUTIFUL GREEN & SILVER ORIGINAL ATLANTIC LABELS WITH JEWEL MUSIC NOTATIONS, ORIGINAL LAMINATED 'FLIPBACK' COVER WITH FASCINATING REAR SLEEVE NOTES, STEREO CATALOGUE NUMBER AND FRONT TOP LEFT PRINTED 'STEREO' LOGO.
VERY FIRST NEW ZEALAND RECORDS (Like their Australian counterparts) WERE PRESSED DIRECTLY FROM US MASTERS AND HAVE THE SAME HAND-INSCRIBED MATRIX NUMBER AS 1968 AMERICAN ATLANTIC WHITE LABEL PROMOS AS WELL AS HAND-INSCRIBED (BY FESTIVAL CUTTING ENGINEER 'RG' ) DOMESTIC NUMBERS.

Laminated flipback cover is solid EXCELLENT or better shape with no defects - no tears, marks, splits, writing, ringwear or stickers. Spine has a few spine cracks that show ageing but are otherwise intact. A tiny amount of lamination has been lost between the 'Led' and the 'Zeppelin' but is still legible.
The super heavy vinyl disc is VG to VG+ with obvious marks and scuffs but these are surface hairlines only. Being such a chunky pressing (there is barely any flex in the vinyl), it plays through unhindered.
Crucially, both labels are clean and free from any writing, stickers or tears. Happy to provide more photos and / or scans on request.
