This is an original 1971 UK first original pressing of the Fourth LP by Led Zeppelin which was untitled and that A3 B3 matrix makes it one of the very earliest pressings there is.
The sleeve is in amazing condition the front panel is firmly rigid and clean the corners are sharp (very slight damage to the bottom left). The back panel is the same with just the slightest ring wear to the top by the sticker which is very firmly attached (nobody has attempted to peel it over the years). Inside of the gate fold is immaculate with no fading at all the black areas are realy dark. The spine is undamaged and has retained a lovely square shape. The sleeve has just very slight edware, and it grades as EXCELLENT MINUS.
The inner original sleeve is present but has a split right across the bottom and there are splits to the sides and a couple of small tares visible in the pictures. It is still pretty clean so could be repaired and look much better.
The vinyl is in EXCELLENT condition throughout this record has not been played much at all over the years and I can only find a couple of spindle trails on both sides of the labels. The vinyl has the very highest luster sheen and looks very new indeed. There are very few of the very lightest hairlines from removing the record from its inner sleeve, but there is absolutely nothing unsightly and certainly nothing at all feelable on here and that is reflected in the playback of this copy. It plays astoundingly well. All the way through on each side without jumps skips or sticking certainly no hissing or intrusive sounds anywhere. Even with my most critical ear its very difficult to fault the playback of this A3 B3 FIRST PRESSING of this rock classic.If you looking for a top notch playing copy of this LP then this is it right here. And yes Porky and Pecko Duck are in the dead wax.
