Description
LED ZEPPELIN S/T (Atlantic SD 8216)
1st Press of Led Zeppelin's debut on the rare purple & brown label. This was a transitional pressing as Atlantic was changing to the Red and Green label. Also known in collectors circle as a mispress.
This item has a low reserve.
The condition of the cover is VG for some ring wear, some seam splits and discoloration.
The vinyl is VG-, with multiple scratches (mostly surface) No deep scratches, plays VG.
SHIPPING -- I will gladly combine multiple items for a SHIPPING DISCOUNT; when you are ready to pay, ask me for a combined invoice.
International Rates: First Class Mail starts at $14 for 1st disc. Complete information under 'International Instructions' below.
US Domestic Rates: US shipping charges are calculated by the USPS and include a small handling fee.
Approximate: MEDIA MAIL = $4-5 for 1-2 discs + $ .50 / additional disc; PRIORITY MAIL = $8-10 for 1-2 discs plus about $1.00 / additional disc. Packages will be shipped only to a CONFIRMED PAYPAL ADDRESS.
US Buyers - If buying/bidding on more than one record, ask for an invoice with correct shipping costs!
US Media Mail can take up to 21 days for delivery!
I ship twice a week: roughly every 2-3 days. All packages shipped within the US include tracking.
GRADING -- COVER / RECORD --
100% VISUAL grading (occasional play-grading will be noted).
RECORD GRADES (from High to Low): M- = looks almost like new; should play almost perfectly (my highest grade for used vinyl); NM = a few lite marks but very little noise; VG+ = 'used but not abused'; more marks than EX and will have slight noise but the music still predominates; VG, G, F, P = increasing marks and noise with each lower grade. Any Record graded above G+ will NOT skip! -- COVERS: Grading follows same system: M- = looks almost like new; EX = shows just lite wear; VG+ = used but not abused; etc. -- LABEL is within '+/-' of the Record grade unless noted. 'Unplayed' means I opened a Still Sealed item for inspection only.

All international packages are shipped registered.
Packages with value of $100 or more WILL SHIP ONLY BY EXPRESS MAIL - fully insured.
Canada -- 1LP $7.50 + $2.50 for each additional disc + Ask for an Invoice BEFORE paying!
Import duties, taxes, import charges, and any other Customs fees are not included in the item price nor in my shipping charges. These import / customs charges are the buyer's responsibility -- Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional charges will be prior to bidding/buying. These charges are normally collected by the delivering freight (shipping) company or when you pick the item up -- do not confuse them for additional shipping charges. I do not mark merchandise below value for Customs, nor do I mark items as "gifts" -- US and International government regulations prohibit this.
Express Mail includes both a Tracking Number and Insurance. AGAIN: The full value of your package will be declared for Customs and I will ship only to a Confirmed Paypal Address.
POST OFFICE BOXES - If you use a POB address, the USPS says that you must provide a telephone number!
Please do not bid or buy then ask me afterwards to change any of these policies -- ask first, please?!
PAYMENT: I must receive payment within 7 days. If you want to continue bidding on upcoming auctions, you must pay for items already won/bought within 7 days: When you're finished bidding or buying, I will send an updated invoice and will adjust the shipping charges to give a discount for the additional items you've bought.
GUARANTEE & Refunds: All items are guaranteed to be as graded unless my ad says 'sold as is'. Compensation can be given as refund or credit, full or partial. All items must be returned in order to receive a full refund, and they must be in the same condition in which I sent them. Any Sealed item is guaranteed only for the cover or sleeve unless you ask me to open it and check it BEFORE shipping. Please contact me first if you are returning an item. All Returns must be made within 7 days. Sealed LPs must be returned still sealed. Refund will be issued after I receive and inspect the returned item. Return postage is not always refundable.
