Description

Hi, and welcome to my auction!

Firstly let me point out that I’m not a record collector or trader, just someone who’s discovered that many of those LPs he bought back in the 60’s and 70’s could actually be worth a bit of cash!

I always looked after my records, and had good quality (perhaps best described as mid-range audiophile) hi-fi equipment. Having bought one of the first CD players in 1984, I rapidly converted and consequently put all my albums into storage, where they have been ever since.

So ... now's the time to put these LPs up for auction – there are a few more on here, just look for my other items.

Here we have one of my Led Zep albums, Led Zep 1.

I must be honest, whilst this is in good condition for it's age, it is not as good condition as my later Stones albums on here.

The matrix numbers are 588171 B//1 and 588171A//1

The vinyl itself is in reasonable condition, with a few visible marks. There is still a good ‘shine’ to the surface and the labels are clean and shiny with some trace of spindle marks. (You have to be looking really closely to see them!)

The cover is generally good condition, however at some point in the past the lower edge has been repaired with sellotape as can be seen in the photos.
