I have for auction from my own collection this super first press cpoy of Led Zeppelins 1st album.It has been in my collection for about 30 years and been well looked after.The sleeve is in super condition,still retaining its original shine with just a few minor creases and only very minor laminate lift [along spine].This is the early issue sleeve with the grey band along the bottom.I would grade the sleeve as excellent to be on the safe side.The vinyl has no scratches at all not even hairline ones.It still has its original shine and looks in great condition. Examined closely under strong light i could only find one tiny mark about 1mm long.The labels are in beautifull condition, and appart from some very faint spindle marks look crisp clean and almost as new.The hi fi system i have is £18,000 of Linn Naim equipment,the LP12 deck has an Arkiv cartridge [£1300].I play all my records before listing them and this one plays very well.There are a few clicks or pops on the run in groove but i have recently bought new records worse than this.The occasional click or pop can be heard whilst listening to it but is minor and does not impose itself on the music.Again most of the new pressings i buy are not this good!.There is no room for records in my collection that don't match up to the system i have.I am only selling as my musical tastes have changed otherwise i would be happy to keep it.Visually i would grade vinyl as exc++ and the audio the same.I tend to ere on the safe side with gradings to protect my feedback.[see my recent feedback for ZEP 2,3 and 4 also Sabbath 2,3,and 4].
