Description
Led Zeppelin, Same
Led Zeppelin, Same.
Original circa 1969 UK Atlantic Records stereo LP housed in orange title sleeve with grey stripe across the bottom of the front panel, 588171.
This version has matrix numbers with the second "8" on both sides crossed out and replaced with an etched "8". A1/B1 suffixes.
Label one credits read "1,2,4. Warner Bros./7 Arts. 3. Jewel Music", side two "1,2,3,5. Warner Bros./7 Arts. 4. Jewel Music". On both sides this text is on a single line.
Around VG/VG+. Vinyl has a good gloss but displays some scuffs and very gentle scratches, some more noticeably visible. Playback is a very solid VG however. Occasional low level crackle heard at quieter spots and separator bands but much of the mostly louder content plays very cleanly and there are no loud ticks or clicks. The crackle is just a tad louder towards the quiet end of A2.
Original poly-lined inner has some age toning and creasing but no splits. There is a date code to the inner of 0970.
External sleeve a strong VG plus. Some laminate imperfections, mainly clustered at right centre of front panel. Some air pocketing to laminate at rear panel next to spine. Just a fraction of ringwear darkening to top front. A couple of very minor marks to rear panel. A little wear and fraction of loss to bottom right corner. Edges are well preserved and all spine text is visible.
Includes a laid in black and white photograph which appears to be an original of the band, and possibly unpublished. This measures 10 x 8 inches. Penned to the rear is "9850407" and this has left a slight impression to the photo itself but only when rotated in the light. There are a number of dark smudgy marks to the photo, both front and rear, possibly removable. The photo has a few creases including a marked diagonal crease to bottom left corner.
