All my records are cleaned carefully on a £400 Moth RCM Wet and Dry cleaner then play tested on a Mitchell Synchro deck. They are then placed in a Nagaoka antistatic sleeve and a heavy weight vinyl outer before despatch in heavy weight mailer with card stiffeners
The vinyl is clean and shiny on both sides, very flat no warping. There are a number of light marks and scratches. Please note that record jumps once on Track 1 Side 1 in first 30 secs but overall audio is good - with some audible scratches. Side 2 plays much better and I would grade audio as very good -, with some light crackling in quiet passages but overall clear and powerful sound.
The laminated sleeve with the very rare turquoise lettering shows wear, there are some creases, scuffs and ring marks see picture. One very small 0.5cm tear on front and back of sleeve. Laminate shows some cracking with just a couple of minor lifts in laminate on top left corner.
Plum and Red First Press labels in excellent condition, no marks or writing with Superhype credits found only on First Press. Later Press examples had Warner Brothers.
All my records are sent out in high quality thick card mailers just 1-2days after I receive payment. I grade records as carefully as I can using the Record Collector UK Grading System.
I use the UK 'RECORD COLLECTOR' gradings which are as follows:
- MINT - The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as SEALED or UNPLAYED should be MINT.
- EXCELLENT - The record shows some signs of having been played but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
- VERY GOOD - The record has obviously been played many times but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without major defects is acceptable.
- GOOD - The record has been played so much that the sound has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents may suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration etc.

FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and / or defaced.

JUST TO LET YOU KNOW THAT I HAVE PUT THE RECORD THROUGH MOTH RCM2 CLEANER AGAIN, NO LONGER JUMPS ON TRACK ONE BUT STILL HAS AUDIBLE SCRATCHES. ON REFLECTION I WOULD NOW GRADE SIDE ONE AS GOOD AND SIDE 2 AS VERY GOOD + AS THIS SECOND THOROUGH CLEAN HAS REALLY IMPROVED THE AUDIO QUALITY. HAPPY BIDDING.
