Description
Led Zeppelin First 3 Albums all Original Plum
Please read the below descriptions of the records fully, I have tried to explain each the best I can, I am always truthful and as accurate as possible, I know there is nothing worse that someone making a record seem better than it is by quoting grey areas in some ancient record grading guide or some hidden power to visually see if a scratch will affect play or not. Any further questions please ask.
THESE RECORDS ARE ALL STILL RARE IN THEIR OWN RIGHT and would be good for any zep collection as fillers or someone starting a collection. despite their condition I still think they are all fantastic, I just like Zeppelin I guess.
PLEASE NOTE I AM NOT A RECORD DEALER BUT USED TO COLLECT RECORDS, ESPECIALLY ZEPPELIN WHO ARE MY FAVOURITE GROUP
I WILL BE SELLING MY FULL COLLECTION OVER THE COMING YEAR AS I STILL HAVE MANY LEFT FROM WHAT I SOLD ABOUT 10 YEARS AGO HERE ON EBAY- ESPECIALLY ZEP, I must have 3 or 4 copies of every LP they did, some given, some bought.
Led Zeppelin
Side1 = A1 / Stampers 1231, Side2 = crossed out 8, hard to make out stampers
Label side 2 looks olderthan side 2, side 2 labeL has small initials painted out.
Side 1
Track1= G
Track2= VG
Track3= VG
Track4= G (few ticks and sticks near end)
(Overall Side 1 plays OK all the way through with no load ticks or pops, just background static noise AND crackles here and there)
Side 2
Track1= P (sticks)
Track2= VG
Track3= VG
Track4= P (Sticks)
Track5= VG
(Overall Side 2 crackles more with more ticks and obviously not as good as side 1)
VISUAL - Lots of marks, obviously been played many times, having said that sone track still sound very good.
Cover intact and still seems in VG+ condition - grey stripe at bottom.
Led Zepelin II - Killing Floor/Maid
A later issue, maybe 3rd press as no killing floor or lemon song error and has Burnett credit on killing floor.
Side1 = A5 Stampers 1111, Side2 = B4 Stampers 1115
Labels both sides nice and clean
Side 1
Track1= VG
Track2= G
Track3= VG
Track4= VG
(Overall Side 1 is OK, there is background static, few ticks and crackles here and there - nothing major).
Side 2
Track1= VG
Track2= VG
Track3= G
Track4= P (Sticks)
Track5= G
(Overall Side 2 is not as good as 1 for obvious reasons, more crackles and ticks)
VISUAL - Lots of marks and fine scratches one of which obviously affects track 4 on side 2, been played many times but
having said all that most tracks sound excellent.
Has original inner sleeve but is split each side at top, Original and correct light brown sleeve that is worn on edges etc.
Led Zeppelin III
A later issue, maybe 3rd press as there is no Celebration error as was found on the 2nd press
side1 = A5, Stampers 1118 - Do What thou wilt
Side2 = B5, Stampers 131 - So Mote it be
Side 1
Track1= VG
Track2= VG
Track3= VG
Track4= VG
TracK5= VG
(Overall Side 1 plays and sounds really well and retains excellent sound reproduction, there is static in quiet parts bu nothing that ruins the sound).
Side 2
Track1= P (Jumps)
Track2= P (Sticks)
Track3= G
Track4= VG
Track5= G (Ticks at end)
(Overall this side lets the record down as can be seen)
VISUAL - Labels nice and clean and record still retains a nice sheen, I dont think its been played loads,
just not been looked after. Its the heavier Vinyl.
Sleeve - inner sleeve old but not original, cover has working wheel and no major marks, it is however coming apart on edges on opening side.but this could be fixed. Spine good with hardly any wear - would rate cover as VG+ overall. would be EX if fixed on edges.
