ORIGINAL UK ISSUE - GATEFOLD SLEEVE - 1973

OUTSTANDING CONDITION!!!

Original UK stereo LP, release date 1973 on the Atlantic label.

Catalogue number: K 50014

Matrix Nos: K50014 A2 and K50014 B2 with "STERLING RL" stamped into the run off.

Condition of cover / inner / record: EX+ / EX- / EX+ (Grading as used by Record Collector)

The front cover is in great condition - the original satin sheen is clear and clean, there is only the feintest hint of ringwear and it looks almost new. The open gatefold is pristine. There is a hint of wear along the open edge and very minor wear to the four corners and this is all that prevents it being mint. The spine is strong and sharp which is quite unusual on a gatefold sleeve of this age. A STRONG EX+

The inner sleeve is the very rare 1st issue textured inner, and completely intact. It has the song lyrics printed in black on thick white paper. Printed in England by MacNeill Press Ltd. EX- with only slight aging.

The labels on the vinyl are clean and bright with only light spindle marks. They don't have the Warner logo - showing true 1st pressing. The vinyl itself looks fantastic - there are only a couple of tiny surface marks visible, even under bright light. The record has a wonderful glossy shine and plays like new, producing a beautiful warm tone and punchy dynamics. A great example of this original pressing. EX+
