Description

Up for auction is a very nice original pressing of the Led Zeppelin album Houses Of The Holy, originally released in the U.S. on Atlantic Records (SD 7255) in 1973:
-Guaranteed original pressing, not reissue -STERLING mastering stamp in deadwax -RL Robert Ludwig mastering marks in BOTH deadwax -1841 Broadway NYC address on labels -Original matte textured inner sleeve -Correct 1973 date on inner sleeve -Original gatefold cover -NOT common record club pressing -No UPC/bar code on cover
Note: Many "RL" copies of HOTH do not have the original matte textured inner sleeve like this one--a very rare feature of true first pressings.
Condition: The cover looks great, with only minor signs of wear.  This cover was very prone to ring wear, but this copy is beautifully preserved, no ring wear, no seam splits.  Just some light rub to a couple corners (see photos).  Interior is clean. Spine is clean.  Nice original! Grade: Excellent (EX)
Vinyl is also very nice, still retains its original glossy shine.  Has a couple faint superficial hairlines and scuffs, but nothing serious, nothing that can be felt, and nothing that affects the quality of playback.  Labels are clean, no marks around spindle holes.  Looks like this records has been played only a couple times but handled with care.
Play-Tested: I've spot tested this record, and the sound quality is Excellent, clean and clear.  No significant pressing or background noise.  Has full-bodied stereo fidelity which you'd expect from a Robert Ludwig pressing! Grade:
Visual: Very Good Plus (VG+) Audio: Excellent (EX)

Combined Shipping
:
Yes, I offer significant combined shipping discounts.  Just ask!

International Shipping
:
Because of unreliable postal services, buyers in France and Italy must pay for Expedited international shipping, which includes tracking and insurance.  I've had too many records lost or damaged shipping to these countries.  Also, I do not ship to Central or South America, or China.

How I Pack Your Records:
I remove the records with inner sleeves from the covers prior to packing.  I sandwich the record between two pieces of cardboard for padding and protection.  I also reinforce the corners of the shipping box to protect the corners of the record jacket from damage.
100% satisfaction guaranteed, no risk buying.  My 100% positive feedback allows you to buy with confidence.  Returns accepted, no questions asked.
