Description
On auctIon here is a stunningly rare archive first pressing of an album by Led Zeppelin entitled Houses of the Holy a final upgrade.Quite simply it is by far the best pressing I have ever seen of this album. What is more it is complete with the mint lyric inner and a mint obi/bellyband almost always missing and when present torn dirty or badly glued.Just have a look at the photographs.
SLEEVE -LYRIC INNER -OBI--- SLEEVE I would grade as NM .There is no wear on the top and bottom and no wear on the spine ,no names or writing anywhere. This is a matt sleeve so prone to wear but this sleeve is the best I have ever seen, just a hint of ringwear on the rear but very hard to spot unless you stare closely at it On a package as god as this I will mention everything. .LYRIC INNER NM perfect usually some fade or spotting but not this one,no names writing .OBI/BELLYBAND NM Almost always missing and when it is present nearly always faded badly glued or torn but not this one.No names or writing except the print on it which should be there. Previous owner with foresight separated it at once and placed it in a plastic protector.
LABELS . SIDE 1 NM SIDE 2 EX+++Slight wear below the word Two but only visible if you stare closely at it and of no significance. No spindle wear no names or writing.Initial release orange white green Atlantic labels with no WEA logo All rights circular label text in the orange section only.Matrix A2 B2 Sterling so earliest ever I believe.
DISC NM/NM The record has been cleaned by a special machine called a loricraft audio PRC-3.No sticking. No warping.Plays through perfectly with no background noise. In my opinion a vibrant sound dynamic sound. No marks lines scratches even under a bright light. There are lots of very quiet passages on the album which usually play with static or background noise but not this one, superb dynamic sound.. PLEASE SEE BELOW ABOUT SENDING ABROAD IMPORTANT.As usual a low bidding start.£5
I am offering FREE POSTAGE in the U.K but due to a big increase in postage recently will now in many cases have to send 2nd class signed for unless buyers want to pay first class signed or special delivery.Because this package is special will send out first class signed or even special delivery if the bidding is high enough. The record will be separated from the sleeve and protected with shrink wrap or a plastic outer cover with.stiffeners. .At present I am reluctant to post overseas except R O I This is because postal services overseas are not reliable maybe due to pandemic.Due to current situation cannot send to Russia Ukraine or Belarus. If overseas bidders are interested, please message me for postage.I would send this out international tracked and signed. If I do send overseas,it is at the buyers risk uninsured and it could take time to reach the destination..Also buyers may have to pay customs or import duty and VAT.Good luck to all bidders .As usual £5 low start for the auction of this valuable record. .Will accept Paypal but Ebay arrange payment. Will package securely with cardboard stiffener and record out of sleeve in a plastic cover or shrink wrap.
