LED ZEPPELIN Houses of the Holy ~ Atlantic ATL 50 014.
Originally released in 1973 this pressing of this LP dates from the 1980’s and is a German manufactured pressing made specifically for the UK market. It is a gatefold edition and features a textured inner lyric sleeve. I bought this copy myself in the 1980’s and I’ve only played it a couple of times from new. It has been carefully stored away since then and only came to light recently when I was having a sort out.
VINYL – MINT
The vinyl is in mint condition. When held up to strong halogen light then it is not possible to see any noticeable wear. On this copy any tiny imperfections are so small that they not worthy of note, it really is a totally stunning example of this LP. I grade conservatively so, I would not award a mint grading unless the vinyl is of the very highest condition.

LABELS – NEAR MINT
The labels are near mint. There is no writing, marks or other defects.
INNER SLEEVE – VG+
The textured custom lyric inner sleeve is in VG+ condition. The inner is completely unworn and sharp on all edges but has a moderate amount of foxing on both sides. This is seems to happen frequently with these inners and given that it has not been handled for over 20 years then the discolouration has clearly happened due to this type of card used being particularly prone to foxing.
SLEEVE – NEAR MINT
The gatefold sleeve is in near mint condition. It is extremely difficult for me to fault the sleeve is any way, it is clean and unmarked with no writing, stickers tears or other such damage. The spine and edges are all razor sharp with no unsightly creases or splits. On the rear of the cover there is just one small impression where something has left a line intended across a small section, although this is not a rip or tear and can only been seen when the sleeve is held up to strong light at a particular angle. For this reason I am grading the sleeve as near mint although many would grade this sleeve as mint as it really is in absolutely stunning condition
