LED ZEPPELIN I 1969 ORIGINAL PRESSING LP SEALED SD 8216

LED ZEPPELIN
"LED ZEPPELIN"   SEALED LP
ATLANTIC SD 8216
1969

~  THIS IS THE REAL DEAL. SEALED ORIGINAL PRESSING! PERFECTLY STORED. M.R.D RECORDS $3.98 PRICE STICKER, WITH A MFG. LIST PRICE OF $4.98!!  THIS IS FROM THE ORIGINAL OWNER, A 61 YEAR OLD MAN WHO SWEARS (TO THE BEST OF HIS 60s-CHALLENGED RECALL) THAT THIS WAS A GIFT THE YEAR THE RECORD CAME OUT. I'M INCLINED TO BELIEVE THAT IT IS, IN FACT A PRE 1970 PRESSING, JUDGING FROM THE SUGGESTED LIST PRICE. CONDITION IS GORGEOUS, WITH  A SMALL TEAR TO THE SHRINK AT BOTTOM CENTER EDGE, AND A SMALL MISSING PIECE OVER THE "ZEPP" ON THE BACK COVER. PERFECTLY FLAT AND TIGHT, WITH EXTREMELY MINIMAL CORNER PULLING. ALL EDGES ARE EXQUISITE. THIS IS THE COPY YOU'VE BEEN LOOKING FOR. I'M PUTTING A RESERVE OF $200.00 - WHICH I USUALLY DON'T DO -  BECAUSE I AM SELLING IT FOR HIM, AND TOLD HIM THAT I'D GET AT LEAST THAT FOR IT. I DON'T EXPECT IT TO BE A PROBLEM. GRADES AND PICS BELOW  ~~

A QUICK NOT ON FEEDBACK: AFTER MORE THAN 1,000 POSITIVE TRANSACTIONS, IN THE LAST 12 MONTHS I RECEIVED TWO NEGATIVE FEEDBACKS FROM BUYERS WHO NEVER LET ME KNOW THEY WERE UNHAPPY WITH ANY ASPECT OF THE TRANSACTION. THEY SIMPLY FIRED OFF NEGATIVE COMMENTS. THIS DISTURBED ME GREATLY BECAUSE I PRIDE MYSELF ON HONEST, PROFESSIONAL SERVICE - AND THERE IS NO PROBLEM THAT I WILL NOT HAPPILY RECTIFY. I OFFER A FULL REFUND IF YOU ARE NOT 100% SATISFIED.

PLEASE DO NOT BID IF YOU ARE THE KIND OF PERSON WHO DOES NOT SEEK A REASONABLE SOLUTION BEFORE USING THE LAST-RESORT OF NEGATIVE FEEDBACK. THANKS!

MINT / STONE MINT: (M): Absolutely perfect in every way - certainly never played.

NEAR MINT:  (NM): A nearly perfect record. No obvious sign of wear. Looks as if you just got it home from a new record store and removed the shrink wrap. Faintest, tiniest wisp of a hint of a suggestion of whiff of a sleeve mark allowable.

EXCELLENT: (EX): A superior  record with no more than a wisp of a hairline, faint shadowing, or a superficial needle drag. None of these defects are glaring, and certainly do not affect play.  I use this grade for sweet  records that don't quite qualify for a true NM, but are clearly superior records not accurately described by VG+.

VERY GOOD PLUS (VG+): Played and otherwise handled by a previous owner who took good care of it. Record surfaces may show some slight signs of wear and may have light scuffs or very light scratches that might slightly affect, but do not overpower, one’s listening experience. Very slight warps that do not affect play are OK. (This is about as low as I bother with, unless it’s a very hard to find original pressing.)

VERY GOOD (VG): Many of the defects found in a VG+ record are more pronounced in a VG disc. Surface noise is evident upon playing, especially in soft passages and during the song's intro and fade, but will not overpower the music otherwise. Groove wear will start to be noticeable, as will light scratches (deep enough to feel with a fingernail) that will affect the sound.

GOOD (G): Good does not mean unplayable! A record in Good or Good Plus condition can be put onto a turntable and will play through without skipping. But it will have significant surface noise and scratches and visible groove wear

RECORD GRADING: ** I grade accurately and honestly according to Goldmine standards. I DO NOT use "MINT" as a grade and I do not "wish" a higher grade on a record. A NEAR MINT grading from me means a virtually flawless record, with only a supremely superficial sleeve shadow or a wisp of a sleeve scuff. A VERY GOOD or VERY GOOD + means a solid, playable record with MINIMAL wear. I will occasionally refer to something as "STONE MINT" to indicate that the record has obviously NEVER been played and has no Factory defects. I have a lot of these pristine unplayed records and a generally superior selection because every few months i go through my recent purchases and throw out all of the lower grade discs. COMIC GRADING: I use the Overstreet "Comic Book Grading Guide, Third Edition" as a constant reference point. I also take and post numerous pictures of each book. I grade conservatively, and err on the side of the buyer. I would rather forgo a few dollars by slightly under-grading than create unhappy and wary buyers by means of dubious, wishful grading. (I have personally seen how books are graded by some unscrupulous eBay sellers, and It's shameful.) PACKAGING: I ship quickly and pack professionally in custom cardboard record mailers with small-bubble wrap. Each Record is sealed inside a 1 ml plastic sleeve. Comics are all individually bagged and boarded and packaged between stiff cardboard in Priority Flat-rate Envelopes. Larger comic lots (up to 40) are mailed in Priority Flat-Rate boxes. I have achieved a 100% Positive Feedback rating by grading meticulously and by treating people as I wish to be treated when I purchase something on eBay. *****

** in pic # 4, the 2 small lines that are visible by the lettering ARE NOT there. i think they were 2 small fibers that were lying there when i took the pic. they are not scratches, pen marks, or anything.
