The debut album from what was to be one of the biggest rock bands ever. Signed by Ahmet Ertegan to Atlantic, based on their blues roots and Jimmy Page's guitar reputation from his Yardbird days, this first release from 1969 became an instant classic blend of English power riffs and rock plus the Chicago blues they were weaned on. Besides Page's virtuoso guitar style this album introduced the rest of the world to the distictive banshee wail of vocalist Robert Plant, the late John Bonham's thunderous drumming and the sensitive bass and keyboards of John Paul. It was the launching of a phenomenon.

I own this one on my personal collection, and this album sounds absolutely great, really never heard LZ sounds this G   O   O   D, ….  a must have for fan eager to hear it on vinyl.
