LED ZEPPELIN I debut LP Atlantic Purple/Brown Label
This week I am auctioning off a great lot of classic 60s rock LPs including some rare variants and true first pressings. I encourage you to please check my other listings for these similar items. All records I sell are guaranteed original U.S. issues unless otherwise described.

Label: Atlantic SD 8216 (Purple/Brown Label 1969 U.S. 1st Pressing)
Grade (cover/record): VG+ (clean, flat) / VG(-) (side one has multiple surface abrasions and plays with consistent light background noise w/ a few pops- solid VG-; side two is much cleaner and plays without any pops, just some really light background noise- strong VG)
Notes: I think my grade may somewhat downplay the effect of this piece. As a true first pressing, the mix is louder and clearer than any subsequent red/green label issue and the sonics of the group such as they are effectively drown out 85-90% of the noise of the vinyl. It's a blistering listen of a truly historic rock record as it was first released to an unassuming public back in '69. Essential rock artifact.
Grading Scale:
NM: Record likely played but is without blemish
VG+: Can have hairline marks that do not significantly alter or negatively effect playback (slight background noise)
VG: May have one or two deeper than surface imperfections per side that may leave audible artifacts (pops, crackles - no skips)
VG-, G: May have multiple imperfections that affect playback without skipping - I grade very conservatively.
