Led Zeppelin – Led Zeppelin II Label: Atlantic – SD 8236 Format: Vinyl, LP, Album, Stereo, "RL" (Robert Ludwig) Cut, Monarch Pressing Country: US Released: 1969 US 1st pressing, featuring Robert Ludwig's "hot" mastering on both sides. Labels include "MO" suffix (indicating Monarch pressing) 1841 Broadway, New York, N.Y.". On all matrix Side A and Side B there is "MR" in a circle that identify a Monarch pressing. ss' in run-outs represent Sterling Sound
Narrow run-out dead wax (3/8") on Side B Cover: EX - close to Near Mint
Vinyl - VG+ to EX - complete audio-tested using high-end deck (VPI Aries) and cartridge (Lyra Kleos) under headphones (Sennheiser HD 600)
Numerous superficial scuff marks on both sides - some crackling in the entrance dead wax, and occasional minor surface noise between tracks.
All residual surface noise disappears when the heavy mix starts; surprisingly quiet during the soft sections of the performances.
