Description

LED ZEPPELIN II 1969 ATLANTIC SD 8236 RL SS USA ROBERT LUDWIG HOT MIX MASTER!!!!

Note: All records are professionally cleaned prior to grading on an Okki Nokki RCM using L’Art Du Son cleaning fluid. This does not restore a record to brand new, but rather removes the majority of dust and dirt to leave a record (and it’s audio) as clean as possible.

Sleeve

The sleeve appears to be in VG- condition with some edge wear, damage to the inner gatefold either side where it has been ’stuck’ at some point and general shelf and usage wear from over the years.

This is the early super thick and heavy cardboard version of the sleeve, not the later ones!

Vinyl

Visually the record appears to be in VG+ condition with some scuffs, scratches and light sleeve marks under a bright light.

I have listened to this album in full and it sounds EXCELLENT! This is an awesome ‘hot mix’, so much so I nearly kept it! On my system, I noticed the odd pop/tick during quieter passages, but when the band kicks in… nothing!

Record Collectors Grading System
MINT (M): The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT (EX): The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.
VERY GOOD (VG): The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD (G): The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
The use of + or - allows for items that fall between the above grades.
Play Testing

Unfortunately as this is not my full time job, I am only able to visually grade records.

Audio quality may vary based on your Hi-Fi system.

For the records I have noted as being listened to, they are played on the following setup:

Rega Planar 3 w/ Rega RB330 & Elys 2

Cambridge Audio CP1

Cambridge Audio CXA60

Monitor Audio Bronze 6
