Conservatively graded.

1969 Presswell press containing the legendary RL cut. 'RL' on side one, 'RL SS' on side two. The disc has been vacuum cleaned.

Cover has some general seam and shelf wear, no splits.

The disc has various hairlines and scuffs, a couple of small feelers, but not bad for the grade. I've bought records on eBay described as solid VG that looked a whole lot worse than this one.

I listened to this from start to finish on a good turntable through headphones, no skips. Playback is mostly VG, with some VG+ passages, but it's not a perfect copy. I wrote some detailed notes that are found below:

WLL: Has some distortion for a several rotations on the second verse when Plant sings 'Way, way down inside, honey you need-ah'. The music powers through it and comes out on top above everything else. Sounds great otherwise with some surface noise that gets drowned out for most of the track.

WIAWSNB: Some random audible distortion here and there during the first half of the song, but it comes and goes. The music still sounds pretty good despite this audible flaw.

TLS: Has some audible distortion through that passage where Plant talks about the 'lemon' juice running down his leg. Sounds great otherwise with some surface noise that gets drowned out for most of the track.

TY: Surface noise is a bit more pronounced on this one than the others, likely due to the lower volume of a good chunk of the track. There is a rotating pop during the last twenty seconds of the track, but isn't nearly hard enough of a pop to cause any skipping. Still sounds pretty great. Some inner groove distortion noted, but it doesn't ruin it.

HB: Has a couple of lines that causes some rotating pops and distortion during the first verse starting when Plant sings 'It won't take long just watch and see' that lasts for like 25 seconds. Doesn't skip though, and the music plays nice and loud through it. Sounds great otherwise, just with some surface noise that gets drowned out pretty easily.

LLM: Not much to say on this one. Just some background surface noise that the music easily overpowers.

RO: Not much to say about this one either. Sounds great, just with the usual background noise that gets buried easily.

MD: Sounds great. The background noise never comes close to overpowering the music, even through the quieter passages.

BIOH: Has a couple rotations of audible distortion on the verse after the band kicks in. Has some rotating clicks near the end, after most of the band backs out. Sounds great otherwise.
