Description
Led Zeppelin: "Led Zeppelin II" 1969, USA/Atlantic SD 8236. Disc is in nice EX to M- shape, and it has white demo labels! Gatefold cover has a demo sticker on the front, no splits or ringwear, it gets a M- grade. Has the correct Company inner sleeve. This is quite a primal rush for me as I had this LP when it was almost new and I was still in elementary school. Yep, I'm actually old enough to remember 1969, and I definitely remember the first time I heard the intro to "Whole Lotta Love" and wondered "Is that a guitar??" Literally, my life was never the same after I heard this LP. I started playing the guitar and never looked back. And years later, my band was recording a demo in San Francisco and the engineer told me that the old mixing board we were using was used by Jimmy Page to record parts of Led Zeppelin II, and of course I thought he was bullsh*tting me... until it happened... you know that spot in the middle of "Whole Lotta Love" where Plant sings "Way down inside... woman, you need me" and you can barely hear his voice a few seconds before it comes in at full volume? Yeah, that same effect happened on my own recording during the mixdown, and I asked the engineer what the hell was making it do that, and he furrowed his brow and said "I don't know, it's bleeding in from somewhere, this mixing board does that sometimes..."

I pack/ship once a week, usually on Friday. I use sturdy cardboard boxes designed for shipping records, and I remove the disc from the cover to prevent seam splits during shipment.
