Description
Hello and welcome to this auction for a 'Led Zeppelin - II (2)' 1969 first press PLUM Atlantic press vinyl LP in overall VERY GOOD/VERY GOOD+ condition.
This particular pressing features the much sought-after ORANGE/PLUM Atlantic labels! This indicates a first pressing and also features the first press light brown sleeve and 'The Lemon Song' on the Side 1 label.

Condition:
Vinyl (visual): Side 1 - does have quite a few hairline scratches and marks. Nothing feelable however. Rated as VERY GOOD-. Label is VERY GOOD+. Side 2 - same as Side 1 - looks well-played.
Audio: AUDIO GRADE TO FOLLOW! I have play-tested the first track on Side 1 and the first track on Side 2 ONLY!! Both of these tracks sound VERY GOOD+!! Fantastic punchy, crisp sound! The bass is rich and its a great listen! There is some light background crackle but barely audible over the punchy audio! There was one tiny skip on Whole Lotta Love and one VERY tiny skip on Heartbreaker but my stylus has been playing up lately so make your own mind up about that one! Will probably clean out but I'm not 100% certain.
Sleeve: The original first press LIGHT BROWN gatefold sleeve is in VERY GOOD condition! The front of the sleeve has some light wear towards the edges but it still looks great with no major faults. The rear of the sleeve does have some light ringwear and creasing towards the edges. The spine is 100% readable!! It's nice and square but does have some creasing here and there. The inner gatefold is nice and clean with no major faults - looks EXCELLENT! There is a split in the sleeve where the record is held - PLEASE SEE PICTURES!!! Still houses the record very well and for the price, it'll be difficult to get a better first press LIGHT BROWN sleeve!
