Description
Hello and welcome to this auction for a 'Led Zeppelin - II (2)' 1969 first press PLUM Atlantic press vinyl LP in overall VERY GOOD/VERY GOOD+ condition.
This particular pressing features the much sought-after ORANGE/PLUM Atlantic labels! This indicates a first pressing and also features the first press light brown sleeve and 'The Lemon Song' on the Side 1 label.

Condition:
Vinyl (visual): Side 1 - a couple of light scratches and hairline marks but nothing feelable or deep! Still retains a nice high gloss. Rated as VERY GOOD+. Label is EXCELLENT. Side 2 - same as Side 1 with a few more light, non-feelable hairlines.
Audio: AUDIO GRADE TO FOLLOW! I have play-tested the first track on Side 1 and the first track on Side 2 ONLY!! Both of these tracks play EXCELLENT-!! Slight background noise here and there but nowhere near overbearing! Fantastic punchy sound with no real problems! No skips, jumps or sticks on my system!
Sleeve: The original first press LIGHT BROWN gatefold sleeve is in VERY GOOD condition! The front features some edgewear and cornerwear. There is also a pink pen mark above the first 'p' in Zeppelin...and a small blue pen mark on John Paul Jones...might be hard to spot on the pictures and may clean off! There is also an approximately 1.5" split to the top of the sleeve on the side where the record is housed. Doesn't cause any issues and is holding up well! The inner gatefold is nice and clean with some minimal age-related wear, nothing too serious. The rear of the sleeve has some light ringwear and age-related wear - PLEASE SEE ALL PICTURES!!! The spine is about 85% readable with some fading and rubbing - not split though!
