Description
Artist: Led Zeppelin Title: II (2) Label: Atlantic Cat No: 588198 Year: 1969 Country: UK
I am in the process of selling my Record Collection, I always looked for the best vinyl copies I could find, this is a top copy of the classic rare 1969 UK Red/Plum Atlantic release Led Zeppelin 2. The Vinyl plays Superb and is in Top EX/NM condition, it has the `Lemon Song` credit (later replaced by `Killing Floor` title) making it the Original UK issue of this Vinyl LP, the sleeve has some wear and grades as VG+ - Matrix: Side 1 : 588 198 A2 Side 2: 588 198 B2
Vinyl (EX++/NM) under bright LED lights (which exposes any flaws) I can only see just the lightest of sleeve removal marks, nothing feelable or deep, this is in top condition, Plays through great even on the quiet sections with no sticks or jumps etc, a Top vinyl copy!!
Labels - Clean Red/Plum Atlantic labels - shows just a few visible spindle lines, hardly been played in it`s 50+ years Inserts - The inner lyric sleeve is the original `Polythene inner` `Plastic Bags Can Be Dangerous` British Patent in Excellent condition
Sleeve (VG+) Original `Light Brown` E.J.Day Matt finish gatefold sleeve, very flimsy and prone to wear, this is a genuine original copy, definitely above average, just minor ringwear, decent readable spine, it has some edgewear, some light wear (Please see photos for complete overview)
I am in the process of selling lots of obscure & rare Records/CD`s, I will be posting regularly why not check them out! I use professionally made packers with card stiffeners & record removed from album cover
I use lots of photos to show as accurately as possible what you are getting (also I dont cut the corners of the record sleeve off the picture!!)
Gradings: I use the standard UK gradings as set out in Record Collector Magazine below:
MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
Near Mint, EX+, VG+ etc are acceptable additions to help `fine tune` descriptions for the buyer
