Matrix : 588 198 A2 / 588 198 B2 Issue : UK Mispress 'Wreck' Blue Spine Sleeve
This is the exceptionally rare UK 1st press of Led Zeppelin II. This, the rarest press is complete with the mispress label "Livin' Lovin' Wreck,' the earliest A2/B2 matrix, the original polylined inner sleeve and the essential rare lightest brown EJ Day, Peter Grant credit gatefold sleeve. The album also includes an insert possibly from a magazine or record shop at the time.
The record is in Good condition. The heavy vinyl is still glossy but it has many marks on both sides, some of which are heavy needle marks. It does play through but has a lot of noise. The plum and red labels are bright with bold colours and sharp text. There is light spindle wear. The record is complete with its original polylined warning inner sleeve.
The light brown gatefold EJ Day sleeve is in Very Good condition. The brown is bold and the colour is bright. There is a little edge wear and discolouration and a price scuff in the corner. The inside has vivid colour and the image is sharp and the text is clear. The spine is firm with clear text and this delicate light card sleeve still feels solid.
