Description
Here I have for sale, a first pressing of Led Zeppelin ii. This is a part of my late father's vinyl collection, which I shall be listing for sale over the coming weeks.
This is a first pressing from 1969, with A5/B4 stamped on the matrix. This copy has "Killing Floor" listed as track 3 on side 1, where the sleeve shows "Lemon Song".
It also credits "Baldwin" rather than "Jones" on tracks 1 and 4 of side 2. Baldwin being JPJ's real name.
Lastly, the other misprint on the label shows "Livin' Lovin' Maid (she's JUST a woman)", rather than (she's a woman).
The vinyl itself is in G+ condition, although only a few marks on the vinyl, the sound is quite crackly throughout. I think it's just been well played and is worn. It would certainly benefit from professional cleaning. That being said, the record plays from start to finish with no skips or sticks.
The gatefold cover is in VG condition, with wear to the edges, a small but well executed tape repair to the rear lower rh corner, and the spine, although intact is illegible.
Original inner dust sleeve is in EX+ condition, no tears or damage, and only light discolouration.
An interesting addition to any Zep fans collection.
