  LED ZEPPELIN

II

Atlantic 8236 scarce '69 first press "1841 Broadway" label. The infamous Robert Ludwig "hot mix" which was mastered so loud that the stylus from cheap record players would jump out of the grooves- causing irate buyers to return the LP as defective. Atlantic then had it remastered it by someone else who made it "quieter". Side One middle runoff groove: ST - A - 691671.  "AT" and "W" are also etched in. "RL" is etched between the 2nd & 3rd groove near the label edge.
Side 2 middle runoff groove is much narrower: ST - A - 691672.  "AT" and "W" are also etched in. "RL" is etched just past "AT".   
 
Jacket Grade:  VG++ Light wear to matte finish gatefold cover art. Mild edge wear. No splits.
  
Record Grade: VG+. Little to no visible play wear. Numerous light sleeve marks and light hairline scratches. Cleaned on VPI. Plays great.
