1969 UK ORIGINAL WITH VERY RARE LABEL MISPRINT "LIVIN' LOVIN' WRECK" ON SIDE TWO INSTEAD OF "LIVIN' LOVIN' MAID".  ("THE LEMON SONG" is printed on Side One which was also corrected and replaced with "KILLING FLOOR").

The Livin' Lovin' Wreck misprint was changed very quickly and very few issues were sold with this error.  This LP with this misprint is very rare and highly sought after by collectors.

CONDITION OF VINYL (visual grading):

SIDE ONE: EXCELLENT

SIDE TWO: EXCELLENT

This rare original pressing with the scarce misprint is in stunning visual condition.  The vinyl is glossy and appears virtually unmarked and unworn.  Upon close inspection under light a few light hairline marks and extremely light surface marks are visible.  However, they are barely noticeable and do not affect playback.  Both plum labels are in great condition and show very little wear whatsoever.  There are a few light spindle marks on both labels (see pictures).  The record plays well throughout, the sound quality is incredible and very powerful.  There is some very light audible crackle in the run-in grooves and quieter passages, however, there is nothing that spoils the listening experience. 

CONDITION OF SLEEVE: VERY GOOD(-)

This is the original pale brown unlaminated gatefold sleeve with the blue/green spine and is printed by E.J. Day.  These early LZ II sleeves are incredibly prone to wear, which means that this sleeve is in very good condition considering its age (please see pictures).  There is some minor grubbiness to the pale areas of the sleeve and some light rubbing.  A faint sign of ringwear can be spotted on the rear of the gatefold and there is minor scuffing to the edges and corners.  The spine is readable, despite some moderate scuffing.  There is some spine damage towards the top of the sleeve where scuffing has occured and has caused some splitting (see picture of spine).

COMMENTS:

This LP is essential for any Led Zeppelin fan or collector.  This particular issue with the "Livin' Lovin' Wreck" misprint is extremely hard to find in any condition as it was withdrawn very quickly.  The vinyl is in great condition and it would be very difficult to find a better copy.  This item should please most collectors - good luck bidding!

PACKAGING INFORMATION:

This record will be sent to you in a high quality cardboard record mailing envelope and it will be protected by two strong cardboard stiffeners in order to prevent unwanted bending during transportation. The record will be placed in a PVC outer sleeve and “sandwiched” between the cardboard stiffeners. The envelope will be sealed with strong brown tape.
