Another from my personal collection. This is an early original original UK pressing of Led Zeppelin's Led Zeppelin II on atlantic labels. Visually the vinyl looks barely played in my opinion. In fact it is hard for me to see any real spider traces around the spindle hole. No needle scratches or marks that would cause any loud constant clicks or pops just beautiful sound quality and fantastic bassey feel and separationonly heard like this on the earliest pressings. Please listen to the recording in the player below. I would grade the audio at least excellent to excellent plus throughout in my opinion.
This is complete with the original UK printed gate fold cover with no splits or tears generally nice and straight with just light general wear and tear with age only and graded at excellent. Audio graded at least excellent plus ti Near Mint in my opinion! Early UK pressing!

Your browser does not support the audio element.Led Zeppelin II is the second album by the English rock band Led Zeppelin.
Released on 22 October 1969 in the United States and on 31 October 1969 in the United Kingdom by Atlantic Records.
Recording sessions for the album took place at several locations in both the United Kingdom and North America from January to August 1969.
The album's production was credited to the band's lead guitarist and songwriter Jimmy Page, and it also served as Led Zeppelin's first album to use Eddie Kramer as engineer.
Led Zeppelin II exhibited the band's evolving musical style of blues-derived material and their guitar riff-based sound. It has been described as the band's heaviest album.
Led Zeppelin II was a commercial success, and was the band's first album to reach number one on charts in the UK and the US.
In 1970, the album's cover designer David Juniper was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Recording Package. On 15 November 1999, the album was certified 12× Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) for sales passing 12 million copies. Since its release, various writers and music critics have regularly cited Led Zeppelin II as one of the greatest and most influential albums of all time.
Led Zeppelin II was conceived during a busy period of Led Zeppelin's career from January through August 1969, when they completed four European and three American concert tours. Each song was separately recorded, mixed and produced at various studios in the UK and North America.
The album was written on tour, during periods of a couple of hours in between concerts, a studio was booked and the recording process begun, resulting in a sound with spontaneity and urgency through necessity.
Several songs resulted from improvisation while touring, including during the instrumental sections of "Dazed and Confused", and were recorded mostly live in the studio.

The Vinyl
On visual inspection this looks in my opinion. I find it hard to even see a blemish on the playing surface, any that could possibly be seen angled to the light would be sleeve removal scuffs only. The vinyl lays perfectly flat on the turntable and is free of any warping. Importantly, there are no visual marks that would cause any loud constant clicks or pops during the play of this vinyl.
The Audio Quality
I have play tested the vinyl two times on two different turntables/systems at very loud volume prior to this listing. Once for you to hear the complete album. (Can be heard in the player above)
The moment that the needle hits the playing surface it is obvious to me that this has barely ever been played at all. Crystal clear and vibrant stunning top audio throughout the play of this vinyl. (Please Note, It is easy to be critical about these seventies pressings and it is very common to hear static/crackle/ticks even on the best looking vinyls.) Any static/crackle heard was isolated and minimal, perhaps heard in very quiet or quieter places and intros only, also I am sure with constant cleaning this will clear up even better. I would grade the audio at least excellent plus to near mint through out!
Please note! Allowances must be made for these early to mid seventies Atlantic pressings. They are notorious for static ticks/crackle in quieter places. I always add this disclaimer! Please allow for very light isolated static type ticks that might be noticed in quieter places, but not consistent through out the audio. Debrit was noted on the playing surface after play. A constant clean before each play is recommended because this vinyl has been stored in a case laying dormant for over 40 years. A build up of dirt and dust in the grooves causes static ticks/ crackle. constant cleaning before each play will reduce this and enhance the audio quality.
The Labels
These are the original 1st issue rough textured Atlantic labels. Barely a spider trace can be seen angled to the light. This has barely ever been played in my personal opinion!. There is little if no spindle wear the hole is perfectly round.
The Record Sleeve
This is the original paper record sleeve. Patented and Made in England printed on the sleeve. This is straight and clean. There are no edge splits or tears. The vinyl is always stored separately from the vinyl. This is how I have always stored my records.
The Cover
This is the original UK issue Un laminated gate fold cover. No nasty creases to report or edge splits or tears. There is light general srage wear marks only with age and light foxing noted only. The spine is generally square and all text is readable. Light rubbing at the edges and spine only. Overall very respectable original cover. I would grade this cover at excellent in my opinion.
