LED ZEPPELIN
II
Atlantic  SD 8236 RARE original '69 press "1841 Broadway" label. The legendary "hot mix" pressing done by Robert Ludwig. His initials "RL" are etched in the deadwax on both sides. Considered by many audiophiles as THE TOP VERSION. Supposedly it was re-mastered  afterwards because most cheap cartridges in cheap stereos couldn't handle the loudness, causing the LP to skip and causing many returns of the "defective" LP. Deadwax is very narrow on side 2 and moderately narrow on side 1. Comes with original Atlantic innersleeve. Nicest copy I've had in a while.   Jacket Grade: NM-  Little to no wear to outer gatefold cover. Inside is NM. No splits.  Tiny "Oct 69" written at lower corners of photo on front which is when thiis was released as I recall.          
Record Grade: NM-. No visible wear.  Looks to have little play. No spindle marks on label. A few light innersleeve marks.
