Description

This is the ultra-rare original first press of "Led Zeppelin II" mastered by Robert Ludwig that is generally acknowledged as the best mastering of this classic title - his initials RL appear in the deadwax on both sides. The deadwax for this LP is as follows:

ST-A-691671-1A RL
ST-A-691672-1A RL SS

Side 2 of this LP plays close to VG+, really nice.  Side 1 of the LP has a mark across the last track (Thank You) that causes repeating ticks and there are scattered ticks across the side, and during Lemon Song, there is one skip, but there are no more skips on this LP on my turntable. There are initials on the label on side 1 as shown.   The jacket is solid with no splits, but has the expected wear/aging on the large white parts and yellowing on the spine as shown, and there is some chipping on the spine.
