Led Zeppelin II

rare German first press vinyl LP first released 1969 on ATLANTIC RECORDS stereo label with Robert Ludwig initials "RL" stamped in the trailoff vinyl... catalognumber is SD 8236. This is known as the "Hot Mix" by mastering guru, Robert "Bob" Ludwig, providing for a much fuller sound than the mixes that came later. This mix was pulled early on due to people complaining about their needles skipping, thinking the LP was defective. Of course, it was due to the lp being played on inferior record players that couldn't handle the mix! ...see photo.

Has the 1841 Broadway address on the label and on the inside of gatefold... Laminated foldout cover in pristine NEARMINT/MINT condition, but vinyl only in VG condition due to background noise... still collectors will know how extremely hard to find these RL stamped LED ZEPPELIN II albums are in any condition.
