Led Zeppelin II- Rare Original 1969 1st Pressing-2 Sided Robert Ludwig Hot Mix. Vinyl is VG+ with a few very light hairlines w/ no bearing on play. A Very nice,clean copy.(RL side 1/RL/SS on Side 2-Very narrow deadwax on side 2). Most of you know the backstory on this LP, so I will not elaborate on it. If you have never heard of it or wondered what the fuss was all about, google 'Led Zeppelin II/Robert Ludwig Hot Mix' for a better understanding of why this 'RL' version of the album is so popular among fans & collectors. Hands down the best sounding pressing of this fabled album available in many people's opinion.Feels as though you are in the studio with LZ when played back on quality audio equipment. Play graded and sounds loud and powerful. Only very minor noise/crackle mostly heard during the quieter passages and lead in's/out's. Never overpowers the music itself..Playback did however reveal a spot at the introduction section of 'Bring It On Home' where 4-5 clicks of a louder nature were heard- this was the most notable flaw heard during playback-(pricing reflects this flaw).Gatefold cover shows some minor general wear, but is solid throughout w/ no splits.Stored in 2 poly sleeves and an anti-static inner sleeve (Original Atlantic advertising inner sleeve is included as well). All reasonable offers will be considered. Will ship w/care and package tightly for safe travel.
