HERE IS A CHANCE TO PICK UP AN ORIGINAL 1970 UK FIRST PRESSING OF THE THIRD SELF TITLED LED ZEPPELIN 12" STEREO VINYL ALBUM COMMONLY REFERRED TO AS "LED ZEPPELIN III"
ATLANTIC RECORDS DELUXE 2401 002 STEREO PRESSING RELEASED 1970 THIS IS A VARIANT 1, THE FIRST OF 12 KNOWN VARIANTS RELEASED ON THE PLUM LABEL . SPECIFIC TO THE FIRST PRESSING: Released on the Atlantic "red/maroon" label, in a fully laminated gatefold sleeve with working wheel.

Specific to the first pressing ;
(1) 2401002 (on labels)
(2) Produced by Jimmy Page , Executive Producer : Peter Grant (credited on top half of labels)
(3) Warner Bros. Music Ltd.
(4) Matrix numbers end with A5 and B5.
Various matrix number combinations from A6/A7 to B5/B6/B7 may exist with the above described first generation of label. They are transitional copies from the first pressing to the second pressing (the ones without Peter Grant credits), and they are later copies.

GLOSSY VINYL, HAS A FEW MARKS & SCRATCHES, STRONG PUNCHY AUDIO THROUGHOUT, THERE IS SOME BACKGROUND NOISE AND SOME CRACKLE IN PLACES (A FEW CLICKS NOTICEABLE ON SIDE 2) STICKS ON THE LAST TRACK SIDE 1 "OUT ON THE TILES" DUE TO A SMALL FEELABLE SCRATCH. OVERALL ITS A GREAT LISTEN. (I HAVE HAD TO DOWNGRADE VINYL TO FAIR, DUE TO STICKING ON LAST TRACK SIDE 1, OTHERWISE THE ALBUM DESERVES TO BE MOSTLY VG.
E.J.DAY GATEFOLD SLEEVE IS VERY GOOD PLUS WITH FULLY WORKING WHEEL. HAS SOME LIGHT CREASING AND SOME SURFACE WEAR, SPINE IS CLEARLY READABLE, POLY LINED INNER IS VERY GOOD PLUS.

Vinyl Will Have Obvious Signs Of Wear, Will Play With No Major Faults, But May Have Some Surface Noise Good – Sleeve Will Have Significant Wear/Damage. Vinyl Will Have A Fair Amount Of Surface Damage, Will Play With No Jumps Or Sticks, But Will Have Significant Surface Noise Fair – Sleeve Will Be Badly Damaged, Vinyl Will Have A Lot Of Damage, Will Play With Surface Noise And May Jump/Stick Etc.
