This is the UK Original press of Led Zepellin III. This press is complete with the earliest A5/B5 matrix and hand etched text Do What Thou Wilt / So Mote It Be and has the 'Under Licence' text above the white strip. It is complete with the original polylined warning inner sleeve and Atlantic US press rotating wheel gatefold sleeve. These US sleeves were commonplace at that time. The sleeve also has the wonderful original famous Liverpool music shop Beaver Radio in Whitechapel price sticker of 47/6d.
The record in Very Good condition. The vinyl has a superb bright gloss, there is no whitening, but there are a few very light marks on both sides. The label is exceptionally clean, the colours are vivid and the white is extremely bright. The black text is sharp and there is only the very slightest spindle wear.
When played the heavy vinyl has a bold, deep, rich original sound. There is some light noise, but nothing that spoils the enjoyment of this album at any point.
The rotating wheel US gatefold sleeve is in Very Good+ condition. The die-cut circles have no wear at all, they are immaculate. The edges have a little wear, but they are still firm. The colours are vivid, the white is bright, with just slight discolouration and the black is bold. The spinning wheel is perfect. The spine is still firm and the inside is completely clean and bright.
