Description
This is an auction for a great and rare ORIGINAL 1970 UK PRESSING - LED ZEPPELIN - LED ZEPPELIN III - UK ATLANTIC RECORDS 2401-002 (ATLANTIC SD 7201) STEREO 1ST PRESSING WITH RED & PLUM LABELS from 1970.
Deadwax trailoff shows Side 1 ; do what thou wilt 2401 002 A-5 'GHC' 1,2,3 stampers to 10 o'clock. Side 2 ; so mote it be 2401 002 B-5 'GHC' 1,2,6 stampers to 11 o'clock.
This record is visually graded as VG+ with some very light marks and hairlines almost no spindle marks, a UK inner sleeve.
The DIE-CUT with inner wheel laminated gatefold cover is overall in VG condition. It appears that someone taped the edges even when the edges did not have splits. There is slight edge wear, some of that tape has yellowed. The wheel spins but as the photos show, it can be removed - (nice to see the actual graphics on the wheel though). Some light foxing inside the gatefold at right.
