"Do what thou wilt" & "So mote it be" hand etched on the outer rims. Hyphen in cat# 2401-002.

An outstanding vinyl with not one single issue as a negative. Chunky, heavy vinyl. Very glossy & ultra clean. Static still clings to this records sufrace, dust particles attatched while trying to take these photographs. There is no warping to the disc, this sits perfectly flat. No pops,clicks, ticks or skipback during play. No signs of heavy needle thrashing or ingrained dust.

Taken from a storage collection of rock records that have had (0) plays in over 35 years+ AMAZING RECORD!!!! FANTASTIC AUDIO.

Apparently people say "that audio on (ALL) 1st press records is best". This in my opinion is a myth. Of course in some cases it is true granted. But the audio here in this paricular master is as great and loud a mastering process as could be wished for. VERY LOUD!!

The inner is the original (plastic bags can be dangerous) and is free from any negatives. The poly lined inner is still attatched & there are no rips or handwritten names.

The cover is out of 100% - 99% correct. Fully working wheel at the side with no stick or bends. The wheel spins to revolve around the cover & gives different perspective to the design, with different band members contained etc. 

The front is immaculate as is the inside of this gated cover. The back cover has a slight part of wear although this is not to heavy or a major issue. A very sturdy cover fully laminated & intact at the side with no splits to the spine. There are no rips, or tearing to the cover anywhere. And also no handwritten names in ink or biro pen anywhere front/inside or back. If anything the very, very slightest of shelf wear on the bottom, and some on the spine. This is certainly a very great example. And any small issues listed on any part of this description is being strongly critical.

The labels on both sides inspected under bright light. No handwritten names. No rip, fade or tears to these on either the -A- or -B- sides. You might if you were to scrutinise these see (only under extreme bright white halogen bulb) one or two spindle marks....BUT this is highly critical on my part & in this day & age to see one of these in such a fantastic condition, whether it be a 1st U.K. Press or not..Looks & sound as great as the first day it went out for sale over 40 years ago. DO NOT MISS OUT!!

Record will be packed in a tough custom box DEFENDAPACK mailer as shown in the photos below. The mailer has a locking tab. The record will be placed outside the cover inside a polythene protector between two card stiffeners and sealed at the top with fragile marked masking tape.

Mint (M) The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet. booklet or poster are in perfect condiition. Records marked as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

Excellent (EX) The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

Very Good (VG) The record has obviously been played many times, but displayes no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any moajor defects is acceptable

Good (G) Te record has been played so much that the sound quality has notceably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc

Fair (F) The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

Poor (P) The record will not play properly due to scratched, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing Bad (B) The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler

CD's and CASSETTES As a general rule CD's and Cassettes either play perfectly - inwhich case they are in Mint condition - or they don't, in which case their value is minimal. Cassette tape is liable to deteriorate with age, even if it remains unplayed, so care should be taken when buying old tapes. CD's are difficult to grade visually; they can look perfect but actually be faulty, while in other cases they may appear damaged but still play perfectly. Cassette and CD inlays and booklets should be graded in the same way as record covers and sleeves. In general, the plastic containers for cassettes and CDs can easily be replaces if they are broken or scratched, but card covers and digipaks are subject to the same wear as record sleeves
