LED ZEPPELIN III 90s U.S. Classic Records 200 gram exact reissue of 1970 Atlantic 10 track stereo pressing from Heavy Metal supergroup. SD-7201. M/M.
Led Zeppelin, led by ex-Yardbirds guitarist Jimmy Page with amazing vocals from Robert Plant had practically invented the term of Heavy Metal supergroup with their first two albums. But on Led Zeppelin III,originally released in 1970, they went against the formula incorporating an English folk acoustic element to their bluesy sound. Never a group to be pigeon-holed, they sound great on "Immigrant Song", "Gallows Pole" & the more typical (for them) "Since I've Been Loving You". Featuring a guest appearance from British folkie Roy Harper on "Hats Off To (Roy) Harper". Other personnel were John Paul Jones on bass, keyboards & mellotron & John Bonham on percussion. This now out of print 200 gram Classic Records pressing from the 90s is an exact reissue of the Atlantic album in every way- featuring the die-cut gatefold cover with the riveted spinning disc insert intact. Amazing sound quality!.

Gatefold die-cut laminated cover is pristine MINT with the riveted spinning disc intact. Record is also MINT with no scratches or scuffs. Only played once. Sounds fantastic!
