My Grade for this rare album is below: Vinyl = Very Good- Condition Sleeve = Excellent+ Condition
SEE ALL PICTURES PROVIDED AND ASK ANY QUESTIONS...A FEW OF MY NOTES ABOUT THE VINYL AND COVER SLEEVE FOLLOW: The vinyl shows obvious play and wear, no skipping, just normal noise from a VG condition first press album. In addition, the famous etchings in the wax of the vinyl are visible when tilted in the light; they are very visible when this is done properly...in very nice condition! I doubt the wax-etchings will show in the pictures provided, rest assured, this is a very good copy showing these etchings nicely; likewise the spindle holes are in nice shape too (look at the individual pictures of each LP and blow up the clean center spindle holes, there is minimal spindle wear and NO BAD MARKINGS on either clean PLUM LP Label).
ORIGINAL, RARE and valuable INNER ALBUM sleeve is INCLUDED and in VERY GOOD condition!!! (see picture provided, it's a very plain white sleeve with a clear, plastic center label/spindle window and in light blue ink there's a text box that states: PLASTIC BAGS CAN BE DANGEROUS & next to that, MADE IN ENGLAND). Most LZ III original UK first presses will not still have this wonderfully plain, but vintage & valuable inner album sleeve...BID ON THIS NOW, AND IT ALL CAN BE YOURS!!!!
FOR STORAGE PURPOSES: Album is kept in a separate plain record sleeve; THE ORIGINAL, ROTATING WHEEL cover sleeve is stored without the album inside of it.
The FAMOUS LED ZEPPELIN III rotating LP's cover sleeve is Excellent...it performs like new. The inner cover has one very small flaw when the album cover is opened (see blowup picture provided of the area). There is a tiny amount of paper loss from the word "PRODUCED"(listed in the credits), if you look closely, you can see the minor flaw: the letter "E" and a tiny amount of the letter "D" is missing...it's very minor to me and does not reflect on the high quality nature of this hard-to-find EXCELLENT rotating-wheel cover sleeve of a first press Led Zeppelin LP. That small paper loss is the ONLY thing that keeps me from saying that this cover sleeve is near-flawless...the rotating wheel is SUPER! I gave you 4 pictures of the front cover to view, so that you could see various pictures as the wheel is ROTATED! It is really an exciting rotating-wheel cover, it is so unique! Record Collector Magazine's Grading Guide:
"MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

THERE IS NO SKIPPING (most recently played about 2-3 months ago), however it is worth bearing in mind that these pre-used items have some history and will not be absolutely perfect...acceptable static/surface noise per the grade given above is based on my opinion and matches the grading given by the person who sold me the album. Every album I've purchased from overseas has been just as described...this is an excellent copy of a very hard to find LP with a valuable, rotating sleeve in great working order condition...AND IT'S A LED ZEPPELIN FIRST UK PRESS!!!!! A MINT copy of this would garner thousands of dollars easily...and has here on e-Bay in years past. This is not a MINT LP or COVER, however, it is a very nice one; AND THIS ONE COULD BE YOURS!
