OFFERS INVITED BUT NO SILLY OFFERS PLEASE!

Tracks are: IMMIGANT SONG, FRIENDS, CELEBRATION DAY, SINCE I’VE BEEN LOVING YOU, OUT ON THE TILES, GALLOWS POLE, TANGERINE, THAT’S THE WAY, BRON Y’AUR STOMP, HATS OFF TO (ROY) HARPER!

I have taken the hard decision to part with some of my record collection as need to downsize and crew more space.

I am very pleased to offer this outstanding early example of LED ZEPPELIN’s underrated third album on the plum Atlantic labels, also with the ‘Executive producer: Peter Grant’ credit on both labels, which denotes an early press as this credit was later removed at the insistence of Jimmy Page. In early 1972 Kinney took control and the plum labels were replaced by the later green and orange ones and a new matrix number. The album was initially greeted with a lukewarm warm reception upon its October 1970 release, as it’s a very different album from it’s two predecessors, however it’s gained in reputation and is a classic and one of their best. The first side comprises harder, rockier tracks while on the second side (the better of the two I personally think) the group tries their hand at acoustic folk which laid down groundwork for the acoustic tracks on their watershed 1971 fourth album.

The fully laminated cover is in EXCELLENT condition, with the rotating wheel fully working and it has not become dislodged which is fairly common with this cover.

The record is in EXCELLENT condition. A few whispy hairlines and a few light ticks on the quieter parts on both sides but loud, clear audio on both sides and NO SKIPS OR JUMPS. Fully cleaned and tested today prior to putting up for sale. Buy with confidence!

The Atlantic labels are in excellent condition. A few spindle trails on both sides but not too much, nice shine to labels.

Earliest A5/B5 matrices!

Low starting bid, sensible offers invited!
