HELLO AND WELCOME TO MY AUCTION
Up for auction here is Led Zeppelin's 3rd LP on the famous plum and orange atlantic label.
This is a super original UK 1st press and as such, is highly collectable. Please read on for a full description.
The fully laminated de-luxe gatefold sleeve is in EX condition. Undamaged and virtually unmarked with a nice thick spine and fully working wheel. The only fault is 5/6 thin laminate crease lines across the back, which is quite common.
The heavy vinyl is in excellent+ condition. It has maintained a lovely sheen and bears only wispy sleeve removal marks. It looks to have been played no more than a handful of times, as the lack of spindle trails would suggest. Plays with fantastic clarity and a super full, rich overall sound. There is virtually no audible background noise other than faint hiss in the very quietest parts, which is only really audible when played through headphones. Lies flat on the turntable and plays M-.
Both labels are virtually unmarked and bear the 1st press Peter Grant
production credit.
Released in 1970 with cat. no. 2401002.....no hyphen.
