LED ZEPPELIN - IN THROUGH THE OUT DOOR
1979 - SWANSONG LABEL - VERSION B ON SPINE - STEREO - NEAR MINT CONDITION - CAT NO : SS 16002 (USUALLY SSK 59410) - RARE.
From my own personal collection, selected tracks on these records were only played only once on my high quality Goldring Lenco deck as I used to record on to cassette tape to listen in the car.
It has been kept upright in clean dry storage since my purchase when the record came out.
Vinyl : in NEAR MINT condition. One slight scuff on side 1 track 3 which does not appear to affect sound quality.

Side 2 : ST - SS - 794346 - L STRAWBERRY O - 2 (PR) SP
Italics etched by hand. Note the matrix numbers differ from the catalogue number (on spine), label numbers (both sides), outer sleeve, inner sleeve and brown paper bag (all 16002).
Labels : Swan Song picture labels in NEAR MINT condition - no spindle marks whatsoever. No smudging or discoloration, text all bright and sharp. SS16002 STEREO. P 1979 Atlantic. Dist. by Atlantic Recording Corp, 75 Rockefeller Plaza, NY, NY.
Outer sleeve : in NEAR MINT condition (photos 2 & 3). Having been kept inside brown paper bag since 1979 and never taken out till listing, it is as near mint as you could get. Lettering on spine : B LED ZEPPELIN IN THROUGH THE OUT DOOR SWAN SONG SS16002 Printed in USA
Inner sleeve : in NEAR MINT condition (photos 1 & 4). Original black and white sleeve - was made with a "magic paint" card which reveals the colours when wiped with a damp cloth. Printed in USA. SS 16002.
Outer brown bag : in only EXCELLENT condition (photo 5). Having been stored vertically in my collection of records, the exposed edge has suffered some damage (photo 6) being a few small tears only on outer edge. The remainder of the bag including printing is unaffected by storage. Writing at base of front side : SS 16002 Swan Song Inc., 444 Madison Avenue, NY, NY 10022.
