Description
LED ZEPPELIN IV, "4 Symbols" 1971
The record is on ATLANTIC, STEREO. 2401012 (deluxe), RED/PLUM black text labels, Made in Gt.Britain, 1st pressing original
Side 1, Pecko Duck (etched), 2401012 (plus crossed out code), A//3 1 2 10 (machine stamped)
Side 2, Porky (etched), 2401012, B//3 1 2 2
The record is in NM condition visually, perhaps a few very light fine, hard to see, sleeve removal type marks and a few fine hairlines, can be seen when tilted in strong light which do not effect the sound. Great STEREO Sound, superb AUDIO, quiet in between tracks with vibrant sound for the songs. There is however a slight nick to the opening of "The Battle of Evermore" which produces a few clicks before the vocal comes in. The labels are extremely clean, no writing, and hard to see, if only 1 or 2 spindle marks. Very few plays
The sleeve is in NM Condition, very minimal storage wear, no splits, the unlaminated sleeve which is prone to rubbing and wear is in fine condition, a nice smooth matte texture. The interior images has much finer detail than later pressings which tend to have less contrast and are blacker. A good example of this is the night sky which is more grey and you can see the artists detail in the shading. The inner flipback rough texture sleeve in NM, totally unsplit, which they are normally are because they are very fragile
